Tracking collagen change with objective markers
We don’t “guess” collagen. We infer it from a basket of reliable metrics—elasticity (recoil, return-time), wrinkle depth/texture, hydration, and TEWL—measured at consistent sites and trended over time.
How we estimate collagen status

Collagen itself isn’t directly visible in routine imaging. Instead, we monitor downstream effects: faster elastic recoil, improved fine-line microtopography, better water retention, and reduced TEWL. Together, these provide a robust picture of dermal support improving (or not).
Protocol examples
We’ll tailor a plan according to your baseline, lifestyle, and tolerance. Typical collagen-supporting paths include:
- Polynucleotides or PRP series (tracked at 6–12 weeks)
- Microneedling (course) ± polynucleotides
- Laser resurfacing (fractional/ablative as appropriate)
- Homecare: retinoids, vitamin C, peptides, SPF, barrier support
Your timeline
Dermal change is gradual. We baseline today, then re-measure in 6–12 weeks and again at 3–6 months. You’ll see the numbers—and the photos—to confirm real progress.
