Acne is a complex problem. To really understand how to rid your self of acne, we must first understand the real causes. Acne is not a Clearasil deficiency. It is not an antibiotic deficiency or a Roaccutane deficiency. To take drugs that suppress the symptoms of acne, is akin to cutting the wire in order to get the light to stop flashing, instead of fixing the problem.
Both will get the light to switch off, but one is a superficial, quick fix that will very likely lead to further problems down the road. The idea that what you eat has no impact on acne is out-dated and has been disproven.
Diet is an important component that you should not ignore. However, for pretty much everybody, there is no ‘magic bullet’.
Your routine is important too. You might have an in-clinic treatment once a week but much of the time you are managing the condition at home.
It's about self-knowledge; the right treatment protocol; excellent home care routine; and a diligent diet!

FAQ ABOUT LASER VEIN THERAPY FACIAL >
Varicose veins are blue or purple enlarged veins that are raised above the skin. They usually occur in the legs due to standing and sitting for long periods of time. If left untreated over time, varicose veins may lead to health problems in the future.
Spider veins (so called because they resemble a spider’s web) are like varicose veins but smaller and lie close to the skin’s surface, usually on the legs and face. They are less prominent than varicose veins but also more common, affecting millions of people worldwide.
Varicose veins can be genetic, hormonal (common in pregnancy) or a sign of weak or damaged valves. The valves in your veins should prevent blood flowing backwards, however if blood flows back to the vein and collects there, this clogs the vein, making it appear bigger than before. If you have many varicose veins, it’s important to treat them as they may continue to get worst.
Spider veins occur for the same reasons, or may also be a result of sun exposure, lifestyle and injuries.
These veins can be unsightly and embarrassing. But by treating them, you’re not only helping to regain body confidence, but also preventing a build-up of veins which can lead to health problems if left untreated.
Laser therapy uses brief pulses of laser light to destroy smaller blood vessels. Blood inside the vein coagulates and is then encouraged to flow back to the veins which are deeper below your skin’s surface. This is where the blood should usually be. The light is later absorbed harmlessly by your body.
Generally laser treatment should not hurt and you should be able to return to work afterwards. Depending on the size and depth of the vein, some people may experience a stinging or tightening sensation during treatment. Discomfort of course varies from person to person.
Laser treatments typically last between 15 – 30 minutes. You should be able to continue with your day afterwards. Santi is open during the evenings and weekends, so you can even schedule a session after work.
This depends on your requirements as an individual. About one to four courses of treatment is a typical. If your veins are larger, then you may require some further sessions. Please contact us for a free consultation to see what treatment plan will be best for you.
You should begin to notice an improvement typically after two weeks, though some patients report seeing their results after one session. Final results may not become fully apparent for six to 12 weeks. This is because it takes some time for your body to reabsorb the coagulated blood. After this period the results should be significantly clearer looking skin.
You should be able to continue your day right away, though we advise that you avoid intense physical exercise for 24 hours after treatment.
There shouldn’t usually be side effects, though again this varies according to the individual. Some people experience redness in the skin, though this should improve after 24 hours. If larger veins have been treated, then there could be some discoloration which would last for a few weeks.
If you experience a sore sensation after your treatment, an ice pack can help reduce symptoms. Any soreness should reduce after a couple of days.
Further courses of laser vein therapy may be suitable if you suffer from recurrent varicose and spider veins.
