His area of expertise is on the following topics: Laser and light technologies for skin rejuvenation; LED technology as a photo-activator in Photo Dynamic Therapy Cosmeceutical ingredients in particular AHA acids Technical measurement of skin hydration including a study on the development of novel technologies for better accuracy and reproducibility in skin hydration Tariq is often quoted in the press on the efficacies of collagen supplementation. He is also a doctoral research fellow at LSBU.
