Evaluation, cleanse & tone
We begin with a focused skin assessment, then thoroughly cleanse and prepare the skin so the rest of the facial can be adjusted to your skin type, tolerance and goals.
Step 2
Microdermabrasion
Fine crystals gently exfoliate superficial build-up while vacuum action removes debris. Intensity is adjusted carefully so the skin is refined without unnecessary irritation.
Step 3
Tailored mask
A mask is selected according to what the skin needs after exfoliation — typically hydration, comfort, clarification or barrier support.
Step 4
Oxygen jet-stream infusion
A pressurised oxygen jet is used as a hydration-focused treatment step, helping deliver a light serum or mineral solution across freshly exfoliated skin.
Step 5
Bespoke finishing skincare
We finish with selected serum, moisturiser and SPF, plus practical aftercare based on the exfoliation level and your usual skincare routine.
Why pair the two?
Microdermabrasion first, hydration second
The logic of the treatment is straightforward: controlled exfoliation removes superficial build-up, then the skin is immediately supported with hydration and calming finishing products.
Rather than making broad claims about oxygen “reversing ageing”, we use the oxygen jet-stream as part of the hydration and infusion stage of the facial.

When we adapt or postpone
We can usually adapt for:
- Sensitive skin, by reducing exfoliation intensity
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding, by adjusting products and actives
- Acne-prone or congestion-prone skin
- Clients preparing for an event who want minimal visible reaction
We may postpone with:
- Active eczema or psoriasis flare
- Broken skin or active infection
- Recent sunburn
- Recent stronger resurfacing procedures
- Current or recent isotretinoin use where exfoliation is not appropriate

Keep the skin calm after exfoliation
SPF daily
Use broad-spectrum SPF 30–50, particularly during the week after treatment.
Pause strong actives
Retinoids, AHAs and BHAs are usually paused for around 24–48 hours, depending on skin sensitivity and treatment intensity.
Hydrate, don’t over-treat
Keep skincare simple and moisturising that evening and avoid unnecessary scrubbing, steam or sauna immediately afterwards.
Santi Glow FAQs
Is there any downtime?
Usually very little. Mild pinkness can occur after microdermabrasion or extractions and commonly settles within a few hours.
How often should I book?
Many clients choose every 4–6 weeks for maintenance. There is no need to follow a fixed schedule; frequency can be adjusted to your skin and goals.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Often, yes. We can reduce the intensity of exfoliation and choose gentler finishing products. If the skin is actively inflamed or compromised, we may recommend postponing or choosing another facial.
Can I have Santi Glow before an event?
Yes. It is often chosen as a pre-event facial because downtime is usually minimal. If you are particularly reactive, booking a few days before the event gives extra margin.
What should I avoid afterwards?
Keep skincare gentle, use SPF, and temporarily pause strong acids or retinoids. Avoid excessive heat, scrubbing and other strong resurfacing treatments until the skin feels fully settled.
What is the difference between Santi Glow and TheraGlow?
Santi Glow is a 60-minute microdermabrasion-and-hydration facial. TheraGlow is longer and more multi-modality, with sculpting massage and selected device-based steps.
