How many sessions will I need?
Typically around 6–8 sessions spaced 4–8 weeks apart, depending on the area, hair cycle, skin type and response. Maintenance sessions may be recommended.
Does laser hair removal work on blonde or grey hair?
Laser targets pigment in the hair. Very light blonde, red, grey or white hair may respond poorly because there is less melanin for the laser to target.
Is it painful?
Most clients describe a brief elastic-band “ping”. Cooling and appropriate settings are used to improve comfort.
Why do I need a patch test?
A patch test is required at least 24–48 hours before treatment to assess skin response and help establish appropriate settings.
Can laser hair removal be used on darker skin tones?
Yes, in suitable cases. Device choice and settings are important because epidermal melanin must be considered carefully. Suitability is confirmed at consultation and patch test.
Why do I need several sessions?
Hair follicles cycle through different growth stages. Laser is most effective when hairs are in an appropriate active-growth phase, so repeated sessions are needed to treat different follicles over time.
