When should I start physio after surgery?

It depends on the procedure. Many protocols begin within days; some require a short delay. We’ll follow your surgeon’s guidance.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is required. If you have op notes or a protocol, please bring them — we can also liaise with your surgeon.

How often will I need sessions?

Typically weekly at first, then tapered as you become more independent. Your plan is personalised to your goals and recovery rate.

Will I get exercises to do at home?

Yes — you’ll receive a clear, progressive home programme with check-ins and updates.
