Frequently asked questions
Do I need a scan before starting rehab?
Usually not. Many shoulder problems respond to clinical assessment and graded loading. We’ll advise on imaging if progress stalls or red flags appear.
How long until I feel better?
Pain often settles within 2–6 sessions alongside a home plan. Tendon strength work continues for several weeks to secure lasting change.
Can I keep training?
Yes, with modifications. We’ll guide tolerable ranges and substitutions so you stay active without aggravating symptoms.
What about frozen shoulder?
We tailor pain relief, capsular mobility work and staged loading. We’ll discuss when injections or medical input may be appropriate.
Side sleeper tips?
Use a pillow under the upper arm and keep the shoulder slightly forward; avoid compressing directly on the sore side early on.
