Your treatment day — step by step

Check-in & assessment (5–10 min)

Brief review of your goals, scalp photos (if agreed), and a final safety check. We confirm the mapped areas for treatment.

Comfort prep (optional, 5–10 min)

Topical anaesthetic and/or cool packs as appropriate. Many clients find PRP comfortably tolerable without numbing.

Blood draw & centrifuge (10–15 min)

A small sample is taken and spun to concentrate platelet-rich plasma (PRP). Sterile, single-use consumables are used.

Mapped micro-injections (15–25 min)

Even placement across thinning zones (hairline/crown as planned). Expect brief pinpricks/pressure sensations.

Wrap-up & aftercare (5 min)

We review what to expect in the next 48 hours and book your next session if you’re on a series.

FAQs

Does it hurt?

Most people tolerate PRP well. You’ll feel brief pinpricks/pressure; topical or local anaesthetic can be used if needed.

Can I wash my hair afterwards?

Yes — usually the next day with a gentle shampoo. Avoid harsh actives and very hot water initially.

Will I see results after one session?

PRP is course-based. Comfort/health of the scalp may improve early; density/texture changes are typically assessed after 3–4 sessions.

Who isn’t suitable?

Active scalp infection, certain blood disorders/medications, pregnancy/breastfeeding, or scarring alopecia in fully scarred areas. We confirm this in consultation.
