LED Light Therapy Facial — illuminate from within
A non-invasive facial that uses clinically used wavelengths to calm inflammation, support collagen and target breakouts — with no downtime.
What is LED Light Therapy?
LED (light-emitting diode) therapy uses specific wavelengths to interact with the skin at different depths, stimulating natural cellular processes. It’s painless, suitable for most skin types and integrates seamlessly with facials and peels.

Wavelengths at a glance
How wavelengths help
Red (≈630–700 nm)
Supports collagen pathways, reduces visible inflammation and improves circulation for a healthier glow.
Blue (≈405–420 nm)
Targets acne-causing bacteria and helps regulate excess sebum — often paired with red to calm and support recovery.
Green (≈520–560 nm)
Used for uneven tone and general brightness support as part of a plan.
White / Near-IR
Soothing, deeper-penetrating wavelengths for recovery and redness-prone skin; frequently combined with red light.
Your clinician will select a single wavelength or a combination based on today’s skin reading.
What happens in your session
- Consultation: skin analysis to choose wavelengths and timing.
- Cleanse & prep: gentle cleanse to remove surface impurities.
- LED exposure: ~20 minutes under selected LEDs.
- Finish & protect: calming serums, moisturiser and SPF as needed.
For optimal results, book a short course (1–2× weekly over several weeks), then maintain monthly or seasonally.
Before your visit

- Tell us about light sensitivities, pregnancy/breastfeeding or new meds
After your visit

How LED supports collagen & calm
LED engages skin’s natural processes (often called photobiomodulation). Red/near-IR wavelengths interact with mitochondrial pathways, supporting energy availability and downstream signals involved in collagen synthesis and normal inflammatory balance.
FAQs
Is there any downtime?
No. Skin typically looks calmer and brighter right away; any warmth fades quickly.
How many sessions will I need?
For breakout or redness plans, we usually suggest a course (e.g., 6 sessions, 1–2× weekly), then maintenance.
Can I combine LED with a peel or facial?
Yes. LED is often added post-peel or after facials to calm and support results. We’ll advise timing.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Generally yes. We select gentler wavelengths/shorter exposure and avoid triggers.
